Dashain is the one the most celebrated festivals in nepal. The celebrations begins from Gatasthapana. In this festival people worship goddess durga. This festival continues till 10 Dasys. People fly kites in this festival. The last day of dashain called the Tika is cebrated by taking Jamara (barley plant) from the elders. This Festival is the symbol of victory of good over bad as it is believed that this festival is celebrated as lord Rama killed the Demon Ravana.
